Baker Hughes is seeking a seasoned Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin to drive the commercial strategy and sales cycle across operators and drilling contractors.

The role emphasizes technical sales, data interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-value solutions. A strong background in DD, MWD/LWD, RSS, and BHA optimization is required, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Directional Drilling or related tools.
• Strong wellbore data interpretation and KPI knowledge.
• Experience with Vaca Muerta or shale basins.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering/procurement stakeholders.
• Excellent communication translating technical information into commercial value.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, and Capex.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analysis to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence within CRM systems.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
