Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and lead technical discussions with major operators to deliver value.

Role requires deep technical knowledge of Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, and BHA optimization, with a track record in closing complex deals and managing cross-functional teams. Flexible, office-co-located collaboration is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience working with operators in shale basins and managing technical sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Managing the full sales cycle including prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Building relationships with operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex, and drilling contractors.
• Delivering technical presentations and post-well analyses to show service value.
• Collaborating with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Supporting tender submissions and contract renewals; maintaining CRM pipelines and forecasts.
• Ensuring compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
