Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in Córdoba, Argentina. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

You will build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling enabling data teams to ship high-quality data products faster and safely. You will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infrastructure, manage AWS

Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, with at least 2 years of hands-on data engineering work.
Experience with AWS core services and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and promotion of data infrastructure.
Build and manage AWS-based infrastructure using IaC (Terraform and/or AWS CDK).
Own observability stack for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts.
Manage container and compute resources (Docker, ECS, EKS, or Lambda) for data ingestion services.
Develop and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs (PySpark) for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and security teams to deliver scalable infrastructure.
