Job summary

Proofpoint in Cordoba, Argentina, is seeking a DevOps and Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation, and delivering data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

You will build and maintain AWS-first cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to empower data teams. Responsibilities include maintaining the CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs, managing Terraform/CDK-based infrastructure, and owning observability and container

Qualifications

• 2+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE with data engineering exposure.
• Expertise with AWS core services: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager, and CloudFormation/CDK.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services: Glue, Athena, S3 lifecycle and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ETL jobs and data infrastructure.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform or CDK).
• Own observability stack with metrics, logs, and alerts for SLA compliance.
• Manage container and compute infrastructure (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Build and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs for data ingestion and transformation.
• Collaborate with data teams to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions.
