Job summary

Bigmedia is seeking a UX Analyst (Product Workflows) to own how work moves through the product from field capture to review and reporting. You will map how property managers actually work, redesign flows, and ensure engineers build from clear specifications.

You’ll collaborate with a second designer on visuals while you handle process, flow, and handoffs. The role emphasizes design of behavior, not visual polish, reporting to the Head of Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex, multi-step workflows in B2B SaaS or field tools.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end workflow mapping and logic, not just polished screens.
• Systems thinking: design for states, branches, errors, and empty cases.
• Clear flow documentation and specs engineering can build from.
• Strong Figma for mapping, prototyping, and handoff.
• AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or Figma AI) to speed up options without lowering quality.
• Awareness of accessibility considerations (contrast, tap targets, text size, focus order).

Responsibilities

• Map property management workflows end to end from field capture to report.
• Talk to workflow users and redesign with fewer steps.
• Write the logic, branches, and edge cases behind each flow for engineering.
• Design offline and retry states so users know status with poor signal.
• Prototype in Figma and validate with usability runs.
• Annotate specs for states, rules, and microcopy for build.
• Review builds, log issues, and verify fixes before sign-off.
