Proofpoint is a hybrid DevOps and Data Engineer role in Córdoba, Argentina. You will own reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities, building and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to empower data teams.

The role emphasizes Terraform/AWS CDK, Glue/ Athena data services, and container orchestration, with collaboration across data engineers, scientists, and security teams to deliver scalable infra solutions.

Competenze

2+ years in DevOps or site reliability engineering with data engineering work
Expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS)
Hands-on AWS data services: Glue, Athena, S3 lifecycle and encryption
Proficiency with IaC tools Terraform and/or AWS CDK
Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI
Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS or Kubernetes)

Mansioni

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infra
Build cloud infrastructure on AWS using IaC (Terraform / CDK)
Own observability stack for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts
Manage container and compute infra (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda) for data ingestion
Build and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs (PySpark) for large-scale ingestion
Collaborate with data teams to translate requirements into scalable infra
