Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina, seeks a DevOps and Data Engineer for a hybrid role that blends platform engineering with data infrastructure. You will own reliability, automation, and data-pipeline delivery, building cloud infrastructure (AWS-first) and CI/CD tooling to accelerate data products.

You will implement pipelines with GitHub Actions/Jenkins, manage AWS resources via Terraform/AWS CDK, and ensure observability and security across data workloads in a collaborative, globally

Competenze

• 2+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering
• Hands-on data engineering experience
• Expertise with AWS core services

Mansioni

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent) for automated testing, deployment, and promotion of AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infra
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using IaC (Terraform and/or AWS CDK) including S3, IAM, Glue resources, Athena workgroups, VPCs
• Own the observability stack for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts (CloudWatch, Datadog) to ensure SLA and fast incident response
• Manage container and compute infra (Docker, ECS/EKS, or Lambda) for data ingestion microservices
• Build and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs (PySpark) for large-scale data ingestion/transformation
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and security teams to translate requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions
