Proofpoint is seeking a DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in Córdoba, Argentina. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation, and delivering data pipelines and analytics capabilities.
You will build and maintain AWS-first infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to empower data teams to ship high-quality data products safely. You will own the observability stack, manage container infrastructure, and develop ETL jobs with PySpark on S3, collaborating with
Competenze
- 2+ years in DevOps/platform/SRE with hands-on data engineering work.
- Expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager, CloudFormation/CDK).
- Hands-on experience with AWS data services: Glue, Athena, and S3 lifecycle/encryption.
- Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform and/or AWS CDK).
- Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).
Mansioni
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs, Athena views, and related data infrastructure.
- Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform and/or AWS CDK) covering S3, IAM, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, VPCs.
- Own the observability stack for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts (CloudWatch, Datadog).
- Manage container and compute infrastructure (Docker, ECS/EKS, or Lambda) for data ingestion microservices.
- Build and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs (PySpark) for large-scale data ingestion and transformation on S3.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and security teams to translate requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions.
