Baker Hughes is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and engage with major operators to deliver integrated service solutions and maximize value.

The role requires deep technical sales expertise, strong communication, and ability to coordinate with operations, engineering, and product teams to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in shale basins such as Vaca Muerta.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Building and maintaining relationships with operators (YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex) and drilling contractors.
• Delivering technical presentations and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborating with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Supporting tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintaining accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
• Ensuring compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
