Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive growth by engaging customers with technical depth and disciplined commercial execution.

You will manage the full sales cycle, build key operator relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, value-driven services. This role requires strong communication and a proven sales record in drilling technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong ability to interpret wellbore data, drilling KPIs and performance drivers.
• Proven track record working with operators in shale basins and managing technical sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators and drilling contractors to deliver value.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analysis to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence within CRM systems.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards across all activities.
