Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. The role focuses on developing the commercial strategy, managing the full sales cycle, and delivering high-value technical solutions to major operators and drilling contractors.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and client satisfaction, while driving cross-sell opportunities and long-term contracts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation, drilling KPIs, and performance drivers.
• Experience working with operators in shale basins and global customers.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering and procurement stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key operators and drilling contractors.
• Delivering technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analyses to demonstrate value.
• Collaborating with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
