Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Advisor for Directional Drilling Services to drive commercial strategy in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation, engaging with operators and cross-functional teams to deliver value through technical and commercial excellence.

Bring 10+ years in directional drilling and related technologies, with the ability to translate complex data into business impacts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in Vaca Muerta or other shale basins.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering/procurement.
• Excellent communication skills translating technical info into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, and Capex.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analysis to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence within CRM systems.
• Ensuring compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
