Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Advisor - Technical Sales for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will manage the full sales cycle, engage with key operators, and deliver technically informed commercial solutions that differentiate services and maximize value.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and identify cross-sell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong ability to interpret wellbore data and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in Vaca Muerta or similar shale basins.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering and procurement.
• Excellent communication to translate technical info into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in Vaca Muerta.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analyses.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
