Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Advisor - Technical Sales to lead the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will manage the full sales cycle, engage with operators and drilling contractors, and deliver value through technical and commercial excellence.

The role requires a strong track record in directional drilling, MWD/LWD, and BHA optimization, with the ability to translate technical insights into commercial opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience working with operators in shale basins such as Vaca Muerta.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contracts.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts and customer intelligence in CRM systems.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
