Baker Hughes seeks a high‑level Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive the commercial strategy, lead the full sales cycle, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to deliver exceptional service quality.

Strong technical and sales credentials are essential for success in this role. You will work with major operators such as YPF and Tecpetrol, leveraging wellbore data and KPIs to differentiate offerings and maximize value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, or BHA optimization.
• Strong wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in Vaca Muerta or shale basins.
• Ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering/procurement stakeholders.
• Excellent communication translating technical info into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex, and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analysis to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence within CRM systems.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
