Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare setting. You will guide architecture, IaC, and cross-functional incident response across Snowflake, S3, and Tableau dependencies.

You will mentor engineers, lead major incidents, and drive platform improvements while coordinating with security and analytics teams. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Cloud/Platform Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong AWS production experience, incl. security and networking basics.
• Deep Kubernetes and Amazon EKS expertise with reliability focus.
• Hands-on with Argo Workflows or similar orchestration platforms.
• IaC using Terraform and CI/CD with release governance.
• Experience with data tools: Snowflake, S3 data lakes, dbt, Fivetran.
• Proficient in Python or Bash for automation.
• Excellent written and spoken English; client-facing capable.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and end-to-end reliability of the managed Data Platform on AWS/EKS.
• Lead the transition to managed services with discovery, risk mapping, and knowledge transfer.
• Define cloud architecture principles, IaC standards, and CI/CD practices.
• Provide leadership for AWS infra, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, and secrets management.
• Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Guide cross-functional decisions across Snowflake, dbt, and ingestion pipelines.
• Lead complex cross-platform triage, L3 escalation, and incident reviews.
• Ensure changes include validation, rollback plans, and traceability.
• Monitor reliability metrics: availability, data freshness, and latency.
• Mentor engineers and align LatAm/India coverage windows for reliability.
• Participate in senior escalation and on-call rotations as needed.
