AgileEngine is seeking a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will oversee AWS, EKS, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, and ingestion pipelines, guiding platform engineering and release practices.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with security and analytics teams, and participate in an on‑call rotation within LatAm hours. This role offers flextime and a path to advanced platform leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Cloud/Platform Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Deep AWS production, security, networking, monitoring and ops skills.
• Kubernetes and Amazon EKS expertise with troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Hands-on with Argo Workflows or similar orchestration.
• Infra as Code, Terraform, CI/CD, release automation, rollback.
• Observability, logging, alerting and incident response for distributed systems.
• Lead major incidents and cross-functional troubleshooting.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability of the managed Data Platform across AWS, EKS, Argo, Snowflake, S3, Fivetran and custom pipelines.
• Lead transition to managed services and run readiness validation.
• Define cloud architecture, IaC, CI/CD, and observability standards.
• Provide leadership for AWS infra, Kubernetes ops, deployment automation and access control.
• Translate needs into technical requirements and backlogs.
• Guide cross-platform decisions on Snowflake, dbt, ingestion and analytics.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and L3 escalation across teams.
• Direct incident response, RCA, and preventive actions.
• Ensure reviews, validation, rollback planning and traceability for releases.
