Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation and ensure robust quality across fintech apps. You will also perform manual and exploratory testing, collaborating with developers and product teams to set acceptance criteria.

The role involves building tests for Electron/React Native apps, integrating with CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and leveraging AI tools to improve QA outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered apps a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
