Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to lead desktop and mobile test automation while also handling manual and exploratory testing. You’ll work within a remote, global team to ensure high-quality software across platforms.

Responsibilities include building robust automation, integrating tests into CI/CD, and collaborating with engineers to define testability and acceptance criteria. Prioritize risk-based coverage and maintain regression suites.

Qualificações

• 4+ years in QA automation and hands-on manual testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating their outputs.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical workflows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk and maintain regression suites.
