Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation alongside manual testing. You will integrate tests into CI/CD and ensure fast, reliable pipelines across products powered by AI-enhanced QA.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on iOS/Android.
• Experience using AI tools in QA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regression automation for critical user flows.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests as needed.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior and test results.
• Identify risks to quality and elevate them to the team.
• Collaborate with product and engineering on testability and acceptance.
• Contribute to planning with estimation and test coverage decisions.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain fast, reliable suites.
• Manage test data and environments; investigate failures.
• Report clear bugs and verify fixes; support QA across releases.
• Participate in On-Call rotations as required.
