Job summary

Ryz Labs is seeking an AI Engineer to work with a client in real estate investment, building AI-powered tools for deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring.

You will split time between building core AI systems and deploying solutions with private equity funds, institutional investors and family offices. You’ll ship production code, own deployments, and feed field learnings back into the platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production software, ideally in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production: agents, RAG, tool use, evals.
• Strong grasp of the AI landscape: models to use, trade-offs between accuracy, cost and speed.
• Solid ML fundamentals: evaluation, problem decomposition, knowing when not to use an LLM.
• Builder's track record: previous startup/CTO/founding engineer experience or leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic systems: multi-step agents, tool use and workflows for investment tasks.
• Own the AI stack: RAG, document pipelines, model routing, prompts and structured outputs to Excel/IC formats.
• Make it trustworthy: evals and observability for accuracy, cost, latency and reliability.
• Build reusable infrastructure: connectors, data pipelines and components for faster deployments.
