Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Business Analyst to assess existing reporting and define a future-state reporting strategy and governance model across a broad stakeholder community. You will map current artifacts, interview stakeholders, and translate requirements into structured documentation to guide decisions.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in business analysis, strong communication, and experience with reporting portfolios, data governance, and BI platforms to enable sustainable reporting

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis experience (≥4 years).
• Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and run requirements workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing a reporting or analytics portfolio.
• Translate business needs into structured requirements.
• Develop process maps, inventories, roadmaps, and documentation.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for simplification.
• Collaborate across business, tech, data and risk stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of reports, dashboards, metrics, and artifacts.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business needs and users.
• Assess relevance, duplication, usability, and value of existing reporting.
• Identify gaps and reports no longer serving a purpose.
• Recommend retention, enhancement, consolidation, replacement, or decommissioning.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas consuming reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews and working sessions to gather objectives.
• Translate needs into well-defined business and functional requirements.
• Reconcile competing or overlapping requirements across groups.
