Civil CAD Draftsman for 2D/3D Oil & Gas
Job summary
A leading engineering company is looking for a Draftsman to develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation for oil & gas projects. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, with experience in the industry preferred. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with industry standards, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining document control. This full-time position is located in Abu Dhabi and does not offer remote work.
Qualifications
- Experience in oil & gas industry projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (API ASTM ACI).
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Prepare civil, structural, and architectural drawings for oil & gas projects.
- Interpret engineering sketches, designs, and specifications into technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers for accurate design.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from teams.
- Maintain document control for all drawings.
- Assist in preparing material takeoffs and construction documentation.
