Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Sharjah is seeking an experienced electrical draftsman. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate electrical drawings, coordinate with engineers, and maintain drawing documentation. Applicants should have a diploma in Electrical Engineering, a minimum of five years of experience with contracting companies in the GCC, and be proficient in AutoCAD. Immediate availability and UAE residency are mandatory for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical drafting with contracting companies in the GCC.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and standards (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop accurate electrical drawings including layouts and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Revise drawings based on engineer redlines and client feedback.
• Collaborate with site teams to gather data and resolve technical issues.
