Job summary

A global leader in armored vehicle manufacturing is seeking a Draftsman for its Engineering team in Dubai. The role involves preparing technical drawings and ensuring compliance with industry standards while working closely with engineers. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in drafting within either automotive or manufacturing sectors. Proficiency in CAD software is essential, along with a keen attention to detail. This position offers a chance to contribute to innovative vehicle designs in a technical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Draftsman in an automotive, industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical drawings and blueprints for armored civilian and industrial vehicle components using CAD software.
• Modify and revise existing designs to meet engineering specifications and client requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards, company guidelines and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of designs.
