Job summary
A leading educational organization is looking for a Facilities Supervisor in Sharjah, UAE. The role includes supporting the Facilities and Operations department, ensuring compliance with policies, and fostering strong relationships with support staff. Ideal candidates should have knowledge of DAX operations and a commitment to excellence in educational standards.
Qualifications
- Basic operational knowhow on DAX.
- Embrace and encourage the ethos and standards of excellence.
- Conduct regular, effective support staff observations.
Responsibilities
- Support the Facilities and Operations department in staff-related policies.
- Establish good working relationships for efficient task allocation.
- Ensure compliance with GEMS policies and procedures.
Skills
- Basic operational knowhow on DAX
- Assisting vendors for procurement-related matters.
- Embrace and encourage the ethos and standards of excellence as defined in the GEMS Core Values
- Support the Facilities and Operations department in implementing staff-related policies.
- Establish a good working relationship with support staff to ensure efficient task allocation and follow through on assignments.
- Conduct regular, effective and purposeful support staff observations, with focused feedback to supervisors
- Support staff in developing assessment practices to drive high standards of development and productivity.
- Ensure the GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
- Initiate effort and energy beyond the typical work day, where the tasks require additional commitment.
- Basic DAX operations
