Job summary
A leading investment company in Dubai is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to take charge of creating and managing the supply planning process. This role involves close collaboration with teams such as Demand Planning and Warehouse Management to ensure accurate supply planning aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2-3 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain management. Strong skills in logistics, inventory management, and problem-solving are essential for this position.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of work experience in end to end supply chain domain.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage the supply planning process with various teams.
- Manage stock orders and coordinate shipping schedules.
- Handle shortages and damages, ensuring claim reimbursements.
- Raise purchase orders and ensure supplier compliance.
- Optimize inventory and manage liquidation of expired stocks.
- Monitor inventory and ensure accurate reconciliations.
- Lead problem solving within the supply chain.

Education
Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for creating and managing the supply planning process within the company’s portfolio. They will work closely with Demand Planner, Clearing & Forwarding, Warehouse and Finance teams to ensure that Supply planning is accurate and aligned with business goals. UAE nationals are encouraged to apply for this role.
- Manage the stock orders with Principals for replenishments on time with appropriate process controls. Co-ordinate for the shipping schedules by Co-ordinating with the supplier’s site, regulatory and compliance authority until delivery of stocks at company’s premises and subsequent update on ERP.
- Get the details from the warehouse regarding the shortages and damages and forward it to the principal in their respective claim reimbursement form and following up with them until compensation.
- Raise all PO with systematic management approval and ensure that supplier delivers orders as per agreement and stocks are available as per the sales forecast.
- Regular follow up with sales with an update on near expired/Damaged stocks for liquidation. update of non-moving ageing stocks, discontinued SKU’s there by reducing complexity for an efficient supply chain management.
- Monitor the short/excess stock on the WMS vs Oracle Vs Physical and keep a check with the warehouse with clear accountability and timely escalation.
- Managing all other aspects of supply chain which contribute in the organizational growth by showing intent of leadership ,commitment and rational problem solving techniques.
- Align with demand planner for all forecasting validation.
- Manage the co-packing activity with close co-ordination with demand planner, warehouse and brand managers.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience needed in end to end supply chain domain.
- Job Specific: Logistics, inventory management, data analysis, vendor management, and supply chain optimization.
