THE JOB :

The POS Administrator has overall responsibility for maintaining the POS Retail environment. Monitor data flow from Server to POS and vice versa. Troubleshoot day-to-day issues faced by POS users at stores.

Job Description :

1. Managing the POS configuration items: menus, screens, periodic pricing, etc.
2. Creating POS system, ensuring compliance with hardware and software requirements
3. Providing first-level support to store staff for daily activities
4. Monitoring Scheduler Jobs and troubleshooting errors
5. Creating databases for new shop openings and recovering crashed databases
6. Maintaining User IDs for store staff
7. Providing remote support and troubleshooting
8. Executing and coordinating new software releases, functionalities, or system patches
9. Facilitating POS system testing plans

Profile

• Proficiency in POS application systems, both administrative and operational
• Understanding all components of multi-location retail IT processes and their support to the business
• Knowledge of retail software systems Point of Sale (POS)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• High-level multi-tasking ability & meeting deadlines
