Responsibilities
- Evaluate and modify insurance plans for renewals and new business.
- Develop pricing strategies for the SME portfolio.
- Build relationships with sales and client management partners.
Skills
- Evaluate price and modify plan design for renewals and new business and large corporate quotations in compliance with underwriting authorities
- Conceptualize and implement pricing strategies for the SME portfolio
- Develop an understanding of competitive and regulatory landscape in all of Cigna's major countries within Middle East and Africa
- Build effective relationship with sales and client management partners to win and retain business
- Collaborate with underwriters to deliver on the turnaround time expectations of the commercial team
- Act as the underwriting point of contact for all Africa related projects
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and pricing and collaborate with rest of the team to implement solutions
- Manage portfolio of accounts by balancing profitability and revenue
- Provide concise clear and decisive instructions on risk exposure
- Conduct analytical reviews to identify and understand trends patterns and insights that are used to successfully manage portfolio
- Support rest of the underwriters on the team to balance the workload
