Job summary

A leading consulting firm is seeking an experienced consulting actuary to lead health projects across the Middle East. The role involves guiding a healthcare actuarial team, managing projects, and presenting client recommendations. Candidates should have a strong actuarial background with 10+ years of experience, particularly in health-related work. Qualifications include an undergraduate degree and fellowship in a recognized actuarial body, along with excellent communication and analytical skills. Regular travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience with at least 5 years in health-related work.
  • Experience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance products.
  • Client facing experience and ability to present technical content to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the healthcare actuarial team based in Dubai and Riyadh.
  • Guide team in preparing analysis and modeling.
  • Review and refine analysis and reports for insurance and government entities.
  • Present results and recommendations to clients.
  • Manage projects, including budgets and timelines.
