Those working as assistants and office support at PwC will provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, including managing their schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling confidential information. You will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations and effective communication within the organization.

Senior Executive Assistant duties and responsibilities:

Diary Management

  • Extensive management of online diaries; booking appointments and arranging meetings; updating as required
  • Ensuring Executives arrive at meetings on time with appropriate documentation
  • Acting as backup in managing other Executives' and Principals' diaries when their EAs are unavailable

Call management

  • Handling and screening calls for Executives
  • Taking and passing messages to Executives in a timely manner

Email management

  • Monitoring Executives' email inboxes when they are out of the office or at meetings and taking action as necessary

Client relationships

  • Maintaining and building good working relationships with Executives' clients and their assistants via phone and email communication
  • Assisting other EAs during busy periods

Internal Process

  • Proactive planning for meetings and follow-up actions (documents, papers needed)
  • Organizing local internal and external meetings, including catering and IT requirements
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • General admin support for Partners and Executives
  • Proofreading and finalizing documents such as presentations, proposals, and letters
  • General filing
  • Keeping Executives' contacts databases and business card storage up to date

Learning and Growth

  • Exercising confidentiality, discretion, and personal sensitivity in all aspects of the role
  • Complying with PwC policies and procedures
  • Building a network of strong internal and external working relationships
  • Assisting with organizing PwC events, including dinners and outside events
  • Acting as a key resource and liaison to other business areas, fostering cross-functional relationships
