Job summary

A leading organization in Dubai is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical scope of work, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems for large-scale construction projects. The role involves site management, compliance with safety standards, and coordination with various stakeholders. Qualifications

  • 4-6 years UAE/GCC experience in MEP works for large-scale construction.

Job description

  • Lead the mechanical scope of work including HVAC plumbing and firefighting systems.

  • Oversee at site ensuring compliance with design quality and safety standards.

  • Prepare technical documents including shop drawings method statements and ITPs.

  • Review and verify MEP design drawings and BOQ during pre and postconstruction.

  • Ensure timely material procurement and site readiness in coordination with planning team.

  • Supervise subcontractors monitor manpower productivity and resolve site issues.

  • Conduct testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.

  • Attend progress and coordination meetings with consultants and clients.

  • Maintain and submit site reports daily logs and QA/QC documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with local authority approvals (e.g. DEWA Civil Defence DM).


  • Requirements
    • Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

    • 4 6 years of UAE/GCC experience in MEP works for largescale construction.

    • Indepth knowledge of HVAC plumbing and firefighting system design & .

    • Familiarity with ASHRAE SMACNA NFPA standards.

    • Strong coordination and reporting skills.

    • Experience in handling DEWA DCD and consultant inspections.
