We are looking for a Legal Counsel for UAE subsidiary companies of Chery International . Work Location : Dubai, UAE

Key Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Must have at least 5 years of Legal experience in Automotive industry of UAE.
• Knowledge of UAE laws such as UAE Civil Code, Commercial Companies Law, Labor Law, Contract and IP Law, Consumer Protection Law, etc.
• Complete fluency in both English and Arabic communication skills (reading, writing and speaking).
• Ability to work independently; strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities :

• Legal & Compliance :

Manage legal and compliance by providing advice, and support to ensure the company operates within the relevant regulatory framework and corporate governance standards.

• Contract Management :

Review, draft, formulate, and revise the company’s contracts, including template contracts, model agreements, and reference contract texts, ensuring legal soundness and alignment with company objectives.

Manage disputes, including litigation and arbitration cases in the company as needed to protect the company’s interests.

• Risk Prevention and Control :

Identify, analyze, and mitigate legal risks in the company’s operations and contracts to minimize potential liabilities.

• Registration and Corporate Affairs :

Manage the company’s registration, declaration, and amendment procedures in accordance with UAE laws and regulatory requirements.

• Coordination with HQ :

Liaise with the Legal Affairs Center at the company’s headquarters on assigned legal matters, ensuring alignment with corporate legal policies and directives.

• Additional Legal Support :
• Handle other legal matters as assigned by the company or the HQ, including ad hoc projects and legal research.
