We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious educational institution in Al Ain, UAE for the position of Head of Arabic Department (HOD). This leadership role requires a dedicated and experienced Arabic educator who is passionate about language education and departmental development. The successful candidate must be ADEK-qualified, fluent in Arabic and possess a strong command of English.

• Lead and oversee the Arabic Language Department ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
• Develop, review and implement curriculum plans aligned with ADEK standards and institutional goals.
• Mentor and guide Arabic language teachers in best instructional practices.
• Monitor student performance and design interventions to support academic success.
• Coordinate with school management on academic planning, reporting and compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous professional development.
• Organize departmental meetings and contribute to broader school initiatives.

• Fluent in Arabic with proficient English communication (spoken and written).
• ADEK-approved teaching qualification is mandatory.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Arabic Language Education or a related field.
• Proven experience as a teacher and/or Head of Arabic Department.
• Strong leadership, coordination and communication skills.
• Passionate about education and committed to academic excellence.
• Nationality: Arab.
