Business Development Manager - Role Description

About nybl

We are developing an AI ecosystem that enables businesses, in any industry, to deploy artificially intelligent solutions using both our platform and applications. Our technology allows anyone to build AI solutions without writing a line of code or needing a degree in Data Science. Our ecosystem is world-changing from healthcare to agriculture, education to industry; the applications of our technology are truly limitless.

About the Role

nybl is looking for highly strategic and data-driven sales & business development leaders to join a team that is currently democratizing AI and deploying incredible solutions across the region.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about prospecting and cultivating a strong sales pipeline. This person must be experienced with a consultative, insight-based sales approach within the AI/ML sector and possess a proven track record of growing sales and exceeding annual quotas.

You will need to have a solid track record in a competitor organization and be willing to scale rapidly as nybl grows. This opportunity will appeal to ambitious individuals who want to be part of a rocketship of a company.

Our BD Managers demonstrate skills associated with a high-performance sales culture – especially pipeline management, lead generation, contact network development, and delivering results against quotas.

What you’ll do

  1. Build a strong understanding of AI/ML technology and related industry developments.
  2. Define and deploy AI/ML campaigns and work with product and dev teams to implement them.
  3. Identify opportunities, driving AI technology innovations and building strong relationships.
  4. Lead cross-functional teams to formulate, negotiate, and execute key partnership deals.
  5. Be a hands-on sales leader (“player-coach”) who will manage their own deals as well as hire and onboard others.
  6. Leverage existing relationships to deliver nybl’s advanced and flexible offerings.

The skills you’ll need

  1. A blend of curiosity, analytical thinking, creativity, adaptability, and a relentlessness to drive projects to completion.
  2. Proactive, solutions-first thinker who is action-oriented and continuously seeks process improvements.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities while staying flexible, organized, and humble.
  4. Demonstrated experience interacting with C-suite Executives, Board of Directors, investors, and various stakeholders.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to give timely and meaningful counsel to senior management.
  6. An exceptional client list with established relationships is essential.
