The Security Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel’s security team during assigned shifts. This role ensures the safety and security of all guests, employees, and hotel property. The Security Shift Leader acts as the main point of contact during emergencies and provides guidance, support, and supervision to the security team.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of all security officers during the shift.

• Ensure all areas of the hotel are patrolled regularly and any suspicious activity is addressed promptly.

• Monitor surveillance systems and security alarms to detect and respond to security breaches.

• Conduct daily shift briefings and assign duties to security officers.

• Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, safety standards, and local laws.

• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and accidents, and coordinate with relevant departments and authorities as needed.

• Prepare and maintain detailed reports of incidents and shift activities.

• Provide training and guidance to new and existing team members on safety procedures and security protocols.

• Assist in investigations involving theft, property damage, or any guest-related issues.

• Support evacuation procedures and coordinate with emergency services during critical situations.

• Maintain clear communication with hotel management and other departments during shift operations.

• Proven experience in hotel security or similar environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.

• Knowledge of emergency response protocols, fire safety, and CCTV operation.

• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Good physical condition and ability to work long shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Certification in First Aid, CPR, or Fire Safety is an advantage.
