Job Description

• Provide expert legal advice on all construction-related matters, including contractor sourcing, supply agreements, regulations, restrictive covenants, and insurance provisions.
• Draft and negotiate complex construction contracts and agreements, ensuring they minimise risk and maximise the organisation's legal rights. Develop contract templates and improve contract management processes.
• Respond to regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with government requirements, protecting the organisation's legal interests.
• Contribute to developing and implementing a value-added legal strategy aligned with the organisation's needs. Prepare policy and procedure proposals for the legal function.
• Counsel and advise internal departments on construction contractual cases and related legal matters. Liaise with external law firms, construction service providers, and government institutions.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Law (Master's preferred). Professional certification is desirable.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate legal advisory services, with at least 3 years in a managerial position or similar role within the construction industry.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex construction contracts and other legal agreements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic language skills are desirable.
• Knowledge and understanding of the tourism industry, regionally and globally, is beneficial.
