A leading international company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a functional application administrator to lead the transition to their Ship Maintenance Management System. The ideal candidate will manage user inquiries, establish a knowledge base, and provide training. As functional application administrator within Fleet Management you will lead the transition to our Ship Maintenance Management System (SMMS) a tailor‑made system for Boskalis. Your responsibilities include establishing a knowledge base, managing user inquiries, creating training materials and coordinating with stakeholders. You will also implement a communication strategy to keep users informed about updates.
Your role ensures the SMMS is maintained perfectly to prevent ships from coming to a standstill. You will travel to vessels as needed and possess excellent communication and customer‑friendly skills. By taking these administrative and user‑centric approaches you will enhance the user experience and ensure successful application support.
