We are seeking a Structural Civil Engineer in Dubai with a strong background in structural engineering and a comprehensive understanding of UAE construction standards. As part of our Engineering Department, you will work on designing, reviewing, and supervising structural projects to ensure safety, compliance, and durability. This is a full-time position with a competitive, negotiable salary.

Structural Design & Analysis

1. Develop structural designs and technical calculations for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
2. Utilize AutoCAD and other tools to create detailed engineering drawings.
3. Ensure designs are compliant with UAE building codes and UAE Standards.

Project Coordination

1. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including architects, contractors, and project managers—to ensure cohesive project development.
2. Evaluate site conditions and liaise with site offices to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

Compliance & Documentation

1. Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including design reports, calculations, and drawings.
2. Ensure adherence to Society Card, Trakhees Green Card, and any other relevant certification requirements.
3. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all structural elements meet local and international standards.

Construction Oversight

1. Provide guidance during construction phases, conducting site inspections and verifying work aligns with approved plans.
2. Identify and resolve on-site challenges promptly, ensuring structural integrity and accountability for project milestones.

Safety & Risk Management

1. Advocate and comply with health and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Recommend improvements or modifications based on risk assessments to enhance project outcomes.

Educational Background :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.

Professional Experience :

1. A minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in structural engineering within the construction industry, preferably with projects in the UAE.

Technical Proficiency :

1. Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and other structural design/analysis software.
2. Familiarity with modern construction methods and industry-standard materials.
3. Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations in the UAE.

Certifications and Compliance :

1. Knowledge of local certifications and safety standards (e.g., Society Card, Trainees Green Card) is highly desirable.
2. Commitment to following UAE health, safety, and environmental guidelines on all site operations.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills :

1. Ability to analyze structural designs, identify potential issues, and provide innovative and practical solutions.
2. Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining accuracy in designs and calculations.

Project Coordination and Management :

1. Proven track record of effective project coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
2. Ability to manage multiple project tasks while meeting strict deadlines and quality standards.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills :

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report project progress effectively and coordinate with team members, contractors, and clients.
2. Capacity for teamwork and building collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Adaptability and Accountability :

1. Ability to work in dynamic environments, both in a virtual office setting and on-site.
2. Strong sense of responsibility and accountability with the drive to own tasks through to successful completion.

Experience in performing on-site inspections and providing technical guidance during the construction phase.

Familiarity with project documentation, quality assurance protocols, and continuous process improvement practices.
