We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at GEMS Al Barsha National School. The successful candidate will work closely with special needs children, providing one‑on‑one support or group to enhance their learning experience and overall development.

• Provide direct one‑on‑one support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in various learning environments.
• Implement individualized education and behavior plans under the guidance of the SEN Coordinator or relevant professionals.

• Assist students in understanding and completing academic tasks, adapting materials to suit their learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with teachers to reinforce learning objectives and modify teaching strategies as needed.

• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students with SEN, promoting emotional well‑being and positive behavior.
• Implement strategies to address and manage challenging behaviors, ensuring a safe and conducive learning atmosphere.

• Maintain open communication with teaching staff, Inclusion teacher, and other professionals involved in the student's support network.
• Maintain daily communication with parents effectively.

• Keep detailed records of student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the Inclusion teachers to assess and report on the effectiveness of intervention strategies.

• Arabic and English speaker
• Empathy and patience in working with children with diverse needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
• Team player with a collaborative approach to problem‑solving.
