We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing processes. This position is suitable for entry‑level to mid‑senior professionals who are eager to develop or advance their accounting careers in a technology‑driven environment using ERP systems such as Odoo.
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
- Record and verify all financial transactions in the company’s ERP system (preferably Odoo).
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including accruals and adjustments.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with auditors and provide documentation for audit processes.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance department.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups).
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Odoo (preferred)
- Understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
- Analytical & Organizational Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data handling.
- Good problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills.
