Industrial Accountant
Job summary
A leading biofuel facility in Sharjah is seeking an Industrial Accountant to manage financial operations, including costing and compliance with UAE regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in industrial accounting, particularly in Oil & Gas or Manufacturing, and familiarity with ERP systems is a plus. This role is pivotal to managing financial health and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' industrial accounting experience (Oil & Gas or Manufacturing preferred).
- Strong understanding of costing and inventory accounting.
- Knowledge of UAE tax compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
- Monitor production costs, inventory movement, and refinery operations.
- Prepare VAT and corporate tax filings.
Skills
We are seeking an Industrial Accountant to manage the financial operations of our biofuel facility within Hamriyah Free Zone. The role involves production costing, inventory control, vendor/client invoicing, and compliance with UAE accounting regulations.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
- Monitor production costs, inventory movement, and refinery operations.
- Prepare VAT and corporate tax filings in line with UAE regulations.
- Create monthly/quarterly financial statements and cash flow reports.
- Work with ERP systems to track cost centers and profitability.
