Job summary

Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) is seeking passionate VIP Waitresses for its Daylife Division brands in Dubai. You will lead by example delivering VIP table, cabana, and sunbed service while supporting your team to uphold luxury hospitality standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in VIP/fine dining, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, and a strong client-facing presence suitable for our premium brand. Strong English is preferred; multiple languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years VIP/fine dining service experience, including 1 year in a lead role.
• Experience in luxury hotels, fine dining, or high-end venues.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage a section in fast-paced settings.
• Deep understanding of VIP service standards and etiquette.
• Elegant appearance and client-facing grooming for a premium brand.

Responsibilities

• Lead VIP table, cabana, and sunbed service to the highest standard.
• Supervise waitstaff in VIP sections to ensure consistency and pace.
• Anticipate guest needs with discreet, proactive presence during VIP service.
• Coordinate with bartenders, kitchen, and floor management for seamless VIP flow.
• Oversee bottle and champagne service presentation with showmanship and timing.
• Build relationships with VIP guests, regulars, and hosts to support repeat visits.
• Train and mentor staff on VIP service standards and etiquette.
• Support the Assistant Manager – Floor with VIP planning and escalation handling.
• Ensure hygiene, safety, and licensing compliance.

As a key member of our Front-of-House team, you will lead by example in delivering exceptional guest experiences while inspiring and supporting your team to uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and personally deliver VIP table, cabana, and sunbed service to highest standard.
• Supervise and coordinate waitstaff assigned to VIP sections, ensuring consistency and pace during service.
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain a proactive, discreet presence throughout VIP service.
• Coordinate closely with bartenders, kitchen, and floor management to ensure seamless VIP table flow.
• Oversee bottle and champagne service presentation, ensuring showmanship and timing standards are met.
• Build and maintain relationships with VIP guests, regulars, and hosts to support repeat visits.
• Train and mentor waitstaff on VIP service standards and etiquette.
• Support the Assistant Manager – Floor with shift-level VIP section planning and escalation handling.
• Ensure full compliance with hygiene, safety, and licensing standards.

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 3-4 years' experience in VIP/fine dining service, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
• Experience within luxury hotels, fine dining, or high-end beach club/restaurant venues.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead a section under high-volume, fast-paced conditions.
• Deep understanding of VIP/fine dining service standards and etiquette.
• Elegant, guest-facing presence and grooming standard suited to a premium, image-conscious brand.
• Good English communication skills; French, Arabic, or Russian an advantage given the clientele.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
