Job summary

A distribution firm in UAE is looking for an experienced Van Sales Manager to oversee sales operations. The successful candidate will manage relationships with IR market customers, ensure timely product delivery, and promote company products effectively. A minimum of 5 years in van sales within the UAE and a valid UAE driving license are required. This role demands strong communication skills and an ability to work independently to achieve sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Van Sales & Distribution within the UAE.
  • Strong existing relationships in the IR Market.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi/Urdu, and basic Arabic.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE routes, customer locations, and market dynamics.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with field sales operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage van sales operations to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with IR market customers (groceries, cafeterias, small retailers, etc.)
  3. Execute route planning and ensure timely product delivery across assigned UAE territories
  4. Promote company products, introduce new items, and ensure proper merchandising at customer outlets
  5. Collect payments, manage invoices, and ensure accurate cash and credit handling
  6. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
  7. Ensure stock availability, minimize returns, and control product expiry
  8. Maintain van cleanliness, safety standards, and comply with UAE traffic laws
  9. Prepare daily sales reports and coordinate with the sales supervisor/management
  10. Represent the company professionally and build long-term customer loyalty
Skills
  1. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Van Sales & Distribution within the UAE
  2. Strong existing relationships in the IR Market (mandatory)
  3. Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi/Urdu, and basic Arabic
