Job summary

Arab Financial Services Company seeks a motivated sales professional to drive merchant acquisition across the UAE, with a focus on MSME and SME segments. You will build relationships with merchant decision makers and align product offers with market needs.

You will map market hubs, negotiate terms to maintain healthy margins, and collaborate with product, operations, and risk teams to onboard merchants smoothly. Report on pipeline and conversion and support cross-selling of value-added services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in B2B environments.
• Proven track record in hunting and merchant acquisition, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE market hubs and merchants.

Responsibilities

• Drive new merchant acquisition with a focus on MSME and SME sectors across all emirates.
• Execute on the set sales strategies to achieve agreed signing and activation targets.
• Map, monitor, and regularly update coverage of all SME market hubs in the UAE.
• Negotiate commercial terms ensuring sustainable margins for the acquiring business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchant decision makers, industry associations, and local market influencers.
• Provide regular reporting on pipeline, conversion rates, and competitive intelligence.
• Work closely with product, operations, and risk teams to ensure smooth onboarding and activation of merchants.
• Support cross selling of value added services (e.g., analytics, pay by link, SoftPOS).
• Ensure high standards of service delivery to merchants to minimize attrition.
• Maintain accurate merchant data and ensure adherence to sales governance frameworks.
