Job summary

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) is seeking a customer-focused teller to support daily branch operations in UAE. You will handle cash transactions, manage deposits and withdrawals, and ensure accurate end-of-day balancing while upholding ADIB service standards.

The role requires knowledge of UAE banking practices and Central Bank regulations, with duties including liaising with Treasury and cross-selling products to clients; prior computer skills and attention to security are essential.

• Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations and risks.
• Thorough knowledge of Central Bank of UAE regulations.
• Awareness of local market competitors.

Responsibilities

• Process teller counter transactions such as cash deposits, withdrawals, drafts, telegraphic transfers and foreign currency exchange.
• Liaise with Treasury for best rates for VIP and high net worth customers.
• Cross-sell and refer product inquiries to Sales staff.
• Act as dual custodian for branch vault cash and security stationery.
• Perform cash reconciliation, end-of-day balancing and general filing.
• Cover other branches in the area when required.
