Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) within AWS Enterprise Support in the United Arab Emirates. The TAM will act as the principal technical advisor to enterprise customers, helping drive adoption, optimize architectures, and manage risk across compute, storage, databases, and more.

Travel up to 10% may be required as needed. The role emphasizes customer obsession, strategic guidance, and collaboration with Solutions Architects and Sales teams to deliver maximum value from AWS

Qualifications

• Experience in design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications.
• Knowledge of cloud-based architecture and cloud services; customer-facing roles.
• Experience as a technical lead with strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on solutions and advocate for the customer.
• Ensure AWS environments remain healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
• Develop trusting relationships by understanding business needs and technical challenges.
• Drive technical discussions with incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
• Consult with partners from developers to C-suite executives.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services, and Sales Account Managers.
• Identify opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
• Provide reviews of service events and metrics; assist pre-launch planning.
