Job summary

Amazon Web Services EMEA Dubai FZ Branch is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to be the principal technical advisor for Enterprise customers, guiding adoption, risk management, and architecture across AWS services. You will engage senior leaders to balance speed, reliability, and cost while shaping strategic cloud journeys.

You will build solutions, collaborate with Solutions Architects and Sales, and help customers optimize operations and cost, while ensuring AWS environments stay

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data in a distributed systems environment.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer.
• Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity.
• Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
• Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
• Consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives.
• Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
• Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
• Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions and metrics.
