Job summary

element MEA in the UAE is seeking a technically proficient Technical Sales Engineer – Tower Crane Spare Parts to join its Cranes Division in Sharjah. You'll leverage mechanical engineering know‑how and deep product knowledge of tower crane components to identify spare parts and win new business.

You will build relationships with crane rental companies, contractors and dealers, prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery while hitting sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in technical or spare parts sales in crane/heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of tower crane components.
• Ability to read drawings and manuals.

About The Role

We are seeking a technically proficient and commercially driven Technical Sales Engineer – Tower Crane Spare Parts to join our client's Cranes Division in Sharjah.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering background, strong knowledge of tower crane components and spare parts, and experience in technical sales, aftermarket sales, or spare parts distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sales opportunities for tower crane spare parts and mechanical components.
• Build relationships with tower crane rental companies, construction contractors, equipment dealers, and crane maintenance providers.
• Identify spare parts using crane models, technical drawings, manuals, and parts catalogues.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable replacement components.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, follow up on enquiries, and close sales.
• Generate new leads through market research, networking, and client visits.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers on pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain customer records, sales pipelines, and quotation follow-ups.
• Achieve sales targets and develop long‑term customer relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in technical sales or spare parts sales within the crane, heavy equipment, or construction machinery industry.
• Strong knowledge of tower crane components and spare parts.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, parts manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Experience in B2B sales, client acquisition, and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
• UAE market experience and an existing network within the crane or construction industry are advantageous.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience selling tower crane spare parts, working with crane manufacturers or distributors, or handling aftermarket sales and spare parts sourcing will be strongly preferred.

Exposure to brands such as Liebherr, Potain, Zoomlion, or other tower crane manufacturers will be an advantage.
