We\'re looking for a Senior Technical Engineer to support the successful delivery of high-value, complex projects in the UAE. In this role, you will manage technical design coordination, resolve multidisciplinary design challenges, and ensure documentation is timely, accurate, and compliant throughout the full project lifecycle.

About Your Team

Your Role

As a Senior Technical Engineer, you will:

Core Job Functions:

  • Review Tender and IFC models (2D drawings, BIM models, asset data) in line with ISO19650 standards.
  • Resolve conflicts across disciplines and take required action through RFIs, CVIs, and coordination workshops.
  • Manage civil and infrastructure design deliverables throughout design and construction phases.
  • Support the design manager in creating and maintaining Project Design Management Plans, PEPs, QA/QC documentation, and submittal schedules.
  • Coordinate multi-discipline information and proactively identify and address constraints.
  • Prepare, raise, and follow up on RFIs & CVIs with clarity and accuracy.
  • Support subcontractor coordination, including tracking deviations and ensuring technical compliance.
  • Ensure accurate information is shared with modelers/draughtsmen and that document submittals are completed on time.
  • Review DFCs, EIs, and DCRs, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Check shop drawings for compliance with project specs and standards.
  • Maintain and update drawing delivery schedules, ensuring coordination with document controllers.
  • Provide technical responses to site queries and support planning teams with updated design inputs.
  • Assist with Temporary Works coordination (tower cranes, formwork, hoists, etc.).
  • Support claims preparation for design abortive works due to IFC changes.
  • Contribute to the Value Engineering process with detailed design insights.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the as-built/redline process by gathering and validating site information.

  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a Senior Technical Engineer role with a leading GCC Contractor or Subcontractor.
  • Software Skills:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD & Autodesk Revit for design review.
  • Knowledge of Revizto or Navisworks for design coordination.
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat & Microsoft Office.
  • Language: Strong written and spoken English.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and trustworthy.
  • Time management and confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail – getting it right the first time.
